The Tag Heuer F1 Is a Classic TimepieceThe F1 Tag has been around forever and unlike some other Tag styles (which have come and gone) it's a classic. Many other watch manufacturers have copied it. Along with the Link series I would say this is one of the most popular Tag lines. I admit it's not a dress watch per se but the latest incarnation is very sharp and one can wear it with a suit. Quality is top notch! I believe the black chronograph is the best of them' all.
This is my first watch purchase from Amazon and you cannot beat the price. A very well known watch store by me was at least $350 more (plus tax). Amazon offers it own guarantee on the watches they sell but beyond that I have nothing more to add. Rest assured though the watches are authentic and the savings cannot be ignored. (make sure the seller is Amazon)

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Calibre S
The watch itself is an amazing piece of engineering. The movements of the hands when switching between Chrono and Time modes never cease to amaze me. So far it appears to be keeping time really well and when your not using the watch for a prolonged period of time you can put it into Chrono mode to stop the second hand from moving to prolong battery life and let the internal computer keep time.
The blue dial looks great with casual or formal wear and I've have had multiple compliments about it. I was also told it looked original when I took it to a Local Tag Heuer Dealer to get my bracelet adjusted.
Amazon offered a great price as I would have had to pay about a thousand dollars more to get it locally. Considering it was significantly cheaper and didn't come with an international warranty like it would when buying from an authorized dealer; I wasn't too surprised when I found some flaws with the product.
The hands don't line up perfectly on the markers when you put the watch into Chrono mode ; the minute hand either sits slightly in front of the 12 o clock position or slightly behind despite multiple attempts at resetting the hands. The same was also the case with the watch mode marker which also shows the first digit of the date. Additionally the second hands don't always hit the second markers spot on as you would expect for a watch of this price. Having said these are quite minor defects that one will only notice with close inspection.
The bracelet is also easily scratched much to my surprise considering the quality I was expecting from a watch of this price.
Hence great care needs to be taken if your going to be using this watch for everyday wear. However I was told superficial scratches can be polished out when you service your watch during a battery change.
So its not a bad product for the price but if your wanting perfection like a gift for a loved one; I would rather pay the full price and purchase it from a reputable dealer with an international guarantee because if your an overseas based buyer like myself getting the watch sent back to the States for repair could be a real problem. Hope this helps ; purchase wisely.

No second thoughts!This watch is absolutely flawless. I hesitated a little about spending that much money on a watch sight unseen. But it was the smartest purchase I ever made buying it from Amazon. Some online retailers that discount Tags scratch out the serial numbers but this watch is perfectly intact. And I ended up getting a better warranty with Amazon than I would have got with Tag. I'd do it all over again!

FabulousI decided to get a nice watch for myself after my old one broke. I decided on this one and it has been flawless. It looks great keeps time to the second matched to an atomic clock every day and did I say it looks great? My only regret is that I did not get the automatic version but I'll save that for next time.

Can't pass this upThis watch is beautiful. I bought it to replace my old Tag which was more than twice the price and not near as timeless with a stunning deep blue background and large face. You will not be disappointed and of course it comes has all of the classic Tag features with a great link band and waterproof up to 300M.

Gorgeous watch!!I've been eyeing this watch for a handful of months and finally got some bonus money to make the purchase. Let me just say that this watch looks just as awesome on my wrist as it does in pictures! I have received many compliments on it as it is just as classy as it is sporty. Bear in mind however that purchasing with Amazon does mean that you'll lose the warranty from TAG however this would be my third TAG and they're bulletproof so you shouldn't have any big issues with it. I'm very pleased and satisfied with this purchase.

The perfect watchI bought this watch for my husbands 40th birthday. He loves it. It is georgous but not flashy. The color/s of the watch make you look twice at it...sometimes deep blue sometimes bright blue. It reminds us of volga blue granite...very classy. Flawless Purchase from AmazonI bought the Tag Formula 1 from Amazon has serial numbers and came with a 2 year warranty from Amazon. the price was 540 and i paid $8 for two day shipping. WatchMaxx and Jomastore had the same watch for about $100 more. the watch came on time with all correct box and materials from TAG.
I love the watch. has good weight to it. I coach so it is fine for hitting baseballs or to wear while coaching football. I was going to get an Omega Speedmaster but have decided to wait and purchased the Tag as an everyday watch. If you need something for everyday and are very active i would say grab this watch even at $650 it is totally worth it. When i had a link taken out from my local jewelry store I got several comments on it and noticed they had the same watch for $1100.

The sapphire crystal casts a dark blue glow over the face in direct sunlight so sometimes the dial looks dark blue and sometimes it looks black. The mini subdial is very stylish and I've gotten many compliments from people who have noticed it. It's a fitting watch for any occasion including everyday work as well as formal events or parties.
